WeCare at Avalon Care Center is actively seeking a motivated Physical Therapist for our community in New Castle . Our Physical Therapist help our residents improve their mobility and enable people to confidently and independently carry out everyday tasks and activities!
Requirements
- Valid State qualifying license or certification.
- Ability to communicate and instruct effectively.
- Hands on experience with therapeutic exercises, functional training, and physical modalities.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in skilled nursing environment is preferred.
- New graduates are welcome.
Responsibilities
- Plan and administer treatment to residents and patients with temporary or long-term disabilities to relieve pain, restore or improve function, and promote healing
- Assure all therapy is delivered in accordance with an established plan of care
- Provide clinical support and instruct patients, families, and caregivers
- Monitor patient response to treatment intervention
- Complete required forms and documentation in accordance with company policy and state/federal regulations
