About The Position

Physical therapist are movement experts who are responsible for the evaluation, treatment planning, treatment implementation, and all necessary documentation of all assigned patients of all age populations within the outpatient setting whom have medical problems or injury that limit ability to move or function in daily life. Physical therapist is responsible for appropriate delegation of patient cases to licensed Physical therapy assistant (PTA) with appropriate follow-up. Therapist may also participate in communications and reviews with patient’s payor source in order to obtain authorization for services. Therapists will be responsible for coordinating with any healthcare professionals that are working with their patients and referring patients to specialists when appropriate and assist other facility staff members as needed to provide care and create a clean, orderly and effective environment for rehabilitation and physical therapy. Provides oversight of Rehab Care Aides in inpatient or outpatient setting. Other tasks as assigned.

Requirements

Education: Graduate of an accredited college of Physical Therapy.
Licensure: Registered PT license, or eligible for license, in State of Georgia.
Experience: May be new graduate.
Skills: BLS CPR.
Good communication and time management skills.
Basic computer skills.
