About The Position

Provides quality health care services to patients under direction and responsibility of Physician by performing the following duties in a compassionate, cost effective manner. Is required to participate in on-call roster. Mercyhealth’s Mission – “Exceptional health care services with a passion for making lives better.” Touching lives invigorates, inspires and drives us to do our very best, and we continuously look for ways to make each life better with the utmost care and professionalism Opportunity: Join an excellent team of two non-invasive cardiologists, two interventional cardiologists, two EP cardiologists, two cardiovascular surgeons and a vascular surgeon Coverage will include: hospital rounding and main clinic Responsibilities to include: following up on patients, new consults and discharging weekly Enjoy a high level of independence Outstanding referral system from primary care

Requirements

Ability to work well independently and under pressure.
Strong communication/interpretive and analytical skills.
A high level of independent judgment and ability to handle empowerment for independent action
Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program
Current WI license
Current DEA number
ATLS certification
Other certifications as required
Graduate of NCCPA approved Physician Assistant program
Certified Physician Assistant
