About The Position

Colorado Pain Care (CPC) operates multiple clinics across the Denver and Colorado region, specializing in advanced interventional and regenerative therapies, including PRP, stem cell protocols, and image-guided procedures. Led by board-certified physicians recognized with Patients’ Choice Awards, Compassionate Doctor honors, and Top Doctor distinctions, CPC delivers holistic, patient-centered care addressing physical, emotional, and functional needs. The Physician Assistant will provide comprehensive clinical care while working closely with physicians and multidisciplinary teams in a fast-paced practice focused on clinical excellence, collaboration, and meaningful patient outcomes.

Requirements

  • Completion of a four-year Physician Assistant program with one year of clinical training, OR
  • Completion of a two-year accredited PA program with two years of clinical training
  • Graduation from an ARC-PA–accredited program
  • Current unrestricted state license required
  • BCLS certification required; ACLS preferred
  • Unrestricted DEA license required
  • Ongoing continuing education (100 hours every two years) and board recertification required
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and EMR systems
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to care for patients across all age groups
  • Ability to lift/move up to 25 lbs, push up to 300 lbs, maintain corrected 20/20 vision, and perform prolonged sitting, standing, walking, and manual tasks

Responsibilities

  • Examine patients, obtain medical histories, document findings, and make preliminary diagnoses
  • Order, interpret, and follow up on diagnostic tests (X-rays, EKGs, lab work)
  • Prescribe medications in accordance with state regulations and clinic policies
  • Educate patients on health maintenance, nutrition, and overall wellness
  • Perform therapeutic procedures including injections, wound care, suturing, and immunizations
  • Assist with emergency treatments and complex or invasive procedures within scope and privileges
  • Develop and implement care plans in collaboration with supervising physicians
  • Counsel patients, monitor progress, and maintain accurate clinical documentation
  • Exercise sound clinical judgment and consult physicians as needed
  • Adhere to CPC’s clinical, ethical, and documentation standards
  • Participate in data collection, research, and institutional reporting
