IBI Clinic Institute, one of the fastest-growing and most innovative Ambulatory Surgery Centers, is seeking an experienced Physician Assistant (PA-C) to join our world-class clinical team. Location -Tampa, FL, and Hudson, FL (as needed)

Requirements

  • Active Florida Physician Assistant License
  • Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced clinical environment
  • Flexibility & Travel - Able to work and travel within a 20-30 mile radius of residency to assist with coverage needs.
  • Patient-Centered Approach - Provide exceptional, high-quality care to each patient, every day.
  • Strong Clinical Judgment - Ability to assess, diagnose, and manage patient care under physician supervision.
  • Exceptional Communication Skills - Ability to engage effectively with physicians, clinical staff, and patients.
  • Problem-Solving and Decision-Making Abilities - Ability to prioritize workload, meet deadlines, and develop effective treatment plans.
  • EMR Proficiency - Experience working with electronic medical records and clinical documentation systems.
  • Attention to Detail - Maintain accurate patient documentation, treatment plans, and clinical records.
  • Team-Oriented Mindset - Ability to work collaboratively with physicians, nurses, and administrative staff to ensure seamless patient care.

Nice To Haves

  • PA-C Certification (Preferred)
  • Experience in surgical, outpatient, bariatric, or specialty practices preferred
  • Surgical / Procedural Experience (Preferred) - Experience in surgical, outpatient, aesthetics, bariatric, or personal injury settings is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct patient evaluations, medical histories, and physical examinations.
  • Diagnose medical conditions and develop treatment plans under physician supervision.
  • Prescribe medications and therapies as appropriate within the scope of practice.
  • Assist physicians in patient management, including pre-operative and post-operative care.
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
  • Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, treatments, and recovery expectations.
  • Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation in the EMR system.
  • Collaborate with medical staff to ensure a smooth and efficient patient experience.
  • Participate in clinical workflow improvements to enhance patient outcomes and operational efficiency.
