About The Position

Carondelet Health Network is seeking a full-time Physician Assistant to join our Cardiothoracic Surgery team in Tucson, AZ. This role offers the opportunity to be an integral part of a busy and well-established CT surgery service line, supporting patients across the perioperative continuum. The position is ideal for a PA who enjoys hands-on surgical involvement, teamwork, and caring for complex cardiothoracic patients in an acute care setting. Requirements

  • Master's Prepared Advanced Practice Nurse Practitioner
  • Must be currently licensed, certified or registered to practice profession as required by law, regulation in state of practice or policy.
  • RNP License.
  • Additional certification(s) per governing board and in accordance with the facility Medical Staff Bylaws.

Responsibilities

  • Operating room responsibilities as part of the CT surgery team
  • Mix of operative, inpatient, and perioperative patient care
  • Manage patients preoperatively and postoperatively
  • Per collaborative agreement and/or state requirements
