The Physician Liaison is responsible for developing and growing relationships with physician practices, independent health care providers, and the physician staff. The Liaison enhances communication and acts as a key resource between Giving Home Health Care and physician offices. Your communication skills, both written and oral, along with computer skills need to be strong. This position requires 3-4 days per week of same-day travel and up to 1000 miles monthly, with monthly reimbursement. M-F 8 to 5pm with occasional early morning start or after 5pm due to physician schedule.

Experience with MS Office products (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.)

Responsibilities

Contact physician offices and demonstrate the highest level of customer service and respect to build a partnership with a physician that patients may be referred to
Learn program policies and procedures, billing processes, and other functions of Giving Home Health Care.
Provide information and training to medical offices
Perform daily prospecting, rapport building, and conduct follow ups. Develop outreach strategies and target lists to manage/document ongoing physician outreach activity
Continually develop medical knowledge to effectively engage with healthcare professionals
Communicate urgency to physicians to assess patients and start process to have illnesses approved or declined for the program
