About The Position

The Physician Liaison is responsible for driving referral growth and strengthening relationships with community providers in both San Antonio and south Austin markets. . This role serves as the external representative of the organization, building strategic partnerships with referring offices and identifying opportunities to expand market presence. The Physician Liaison plays a key role in increasing patient volume, supporting new provider onboarding, and enhancing the organization’s brand within the medical community.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain relationships with targeted referral sources, including primary care providers, specialists, urgent care centers, and hospital systems.
Conduct routine in-person visits to physician offices within assigned territory.
Present clinical services, provider expertise, and access points clearly and professionally.
Identify and engage new referral opportunities.
Maintain an organized schedule of weekly office visits and outreach.
Track activity and referral trends using CRM or reporting tools.
Monitor competitor activity and provide market intelligence to leadership.
Identify service gaps or operational barriers impacting growth.
Support online advertising and marketing campaigns including paid ads and social media content development.
Coordinate and attend lunch-and-learns, networking events, and community engagements.
Represent the organization at professional events and meetings.
Support marketing campaigns and provider announcements within the territory.
