About The Position

LifeWorks Wellness Center is seeking a board-certified MD or DO with a strong interest in integrative medicine, preferably with experience in oncology. Requirements

  • Must possess an M.D. or D.O. degree and hold an active, unrestricted medical license in the United States.
  • Board certification in internal medicine, family medicine, integrative medicine, or other primary care field.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and a compassionate approach to patient care.
  • Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.

Nice To Haves

  • Board-certified in integrative medicine or a related field, with a specific interest in oncology.
  • Extensive experience in diagnosing and treating chronic illnesses and cancer through alternative medical practices.
  • Strong background in holistic health, nutrition, and lifestyle medicine, specifically tailored to cancer care.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver comprehensive medical evaluations, including history, physical examination, and appropriate diagnostic testing, from an integrative and whole-person perspective.
  • Conduct thorough patient assessments to understand the underlying causes of chronic and complex illnesses, including cancer and related conditions.
  • Develop and manage individualized treatment programs, that combine conventional medicine with evidence-based integrative and lifestyle approaches.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary care team, to provide coordinated, patient-centered care and ensure optimal outcomes.
  • Provide ongoing management for patients with chronic diseases such as cancer, autoimmune disorders, metabolic dysfunction, hormonal imbalance, and inflammatory conditions.
  • Engage patients in preventive care, wellness promotion, and lifestyle medicine counseling to support overall health, treatment recovery, and long-term well-being.
  • Maintain accurate, timely documentation and ensure compliance with regulatory, licensure, and credentialing standards.
  • Participate in continuous quality improvement, clinical program development, and process optimization.
  • Contribute to research, educational materials, and community outreach related to integrative and preventive medicine.
  • Stay current with the latest research and advancements in integrative medicine, oncology, and other relevant clinical fields.
