About The Position

Meritus Medical Group is seeking a Physician Practice Clinical Supervisor to support daily clinical operations in our outpatient practice. This role is ideal for an experienced clinical professional with strong leadership, organizational, and mentoring skills. You will assist the Practice Manager by supervising clinical staff, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, fostering teamwork, and supporting quality improvement initiatives. Key Responsibilities: Supervise and mentor clinical staff (CMA, LPN, RN), including onboarding, training, and professional development. Collaborate with providers to support electronic health records, quality metrics, and value-based care initiatives. Oversee clinical supplies, lab certifications, and compliance with state/regulatory requirements. Manage staff scheduling, PTO requests, Kronos reviews, and assist with recruitment/retention. Promote effective communication and provide feedback to support staff performance and evaluations. Model and enforce high standards for patient experience, addressing and resolving clinical concerns. Provide clinical support and step in as needed to ensure smooth practice operations.

Requirements

  • Education: High School Diploma required.
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years in an outpatient clinic
  • Licensure/Certification: Medical Assistant: 5+ years of experience (certification preferred).
  • LPN: Current Maryland license with at least 2 years of experience.
  • Other licensed clinical specialties (e.g., Radiology Technician) with 2+ years of experience will be considered.
  • Strong teamwork, independence, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication (oral, written, interpersonal) and problem-solving skills.

Nice To Haves

  • leadership experience preferred.
  • Medical Assistant: certification preferred
