About The Position

Physician Recruiter — Corporate Acadia Healthcare United States | Full-Time | Remote We are seeking a Physician Recruiter to join our Corporate Physician Recruiting team, supporting our hospitals nationwide with full‑cycle sourcing, recruitment strategy, and candidate pipeline development for employed and contracted physician roles. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree and 2–5 years of physician recruitment experience within a health system or corporate healthcare organization.
  • 2+ years of full-cycle physician recruiting (healthcare preferred; behavioral health strongly desired).
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship‑building skills with the ability to partner with leaders at all levels.
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office; experience with applicant tracking systems preferred.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality with sensitive information.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a full physician recruitment desk using innovative sourcing strategies and market intelligence.
  • Build and maintain talent networks in key specialties to support ongoing and future needs.
  • Develop, communicate, and execute sourcing strategies aligned to each facility’s goals.
  • Source, screen, and refer qualified physicians and advanced practice providers (NPs and PAs) for psychiatric, medical, and specialty roles.
  • Own the candidate experience from initial outreach through offer acceptance.
  • Represent Acadia at industry conferences, trade shows, and job fairs.
  • Partner closely with Division Presidents, CEOs, RVPs, Facility Directors, and Legal.
  • Conduct weekly recruitment reviews and maintain dashboards through the iCIMS Physician Management System.
  • Establish long-term relationships with universities, residency programs, and professional organizations.
