By joining our esteemed team, you will become one of the 79 dedicated providers serving 237,000 patients, all while maintaining an excellent work-life balance. We are a thriving, physician-led, independent orthopedic practice that has been committed to the North Georgia community for over 60 years. Our practice encompasses 10 regional locations, three wholly owned ambulatory surgery centers, MRI/CT Imaging Centers, a comprehensive Outpatient Therapy Network, a premier Occupational Medicine Center, and Northeast Georgia’s only Orthopedic Urgent Care Centers. Our services operate 7-days per week to deliver on our promise that “access matters”. The AOC contributions to medical education and research are extensive, with numerous ongoing studies and over 150 medical students hosted in the past decade. Many of our physicians serve as Teaching Faculty at the University of Georgia School of Medicine, and the Medical College of Georgia where they play a pivotal role in training and preparing the next generation of orthopedic surgeons. The Physician Relations and Community Engagement is responsible for building and maintaining strategic relationships with community physicians, practice managers, and other referral sources. Your primary objective is to increase patient referrals to the practice's specialists and service lines by identifying market opportunities, resolving service barriers, and educating the medical community on our clinical excellence. This position reports to the Chief Executive Officer.
