The Physician provides comprehensive primary and integrated healthcare services to individuals enrolled in outpatient behavioral health, psychiatric rehabilitation, substance use treatment, and primary care programs. This role is responsible for performing medical evaluations, managing acute and chronic health conditions, prescribing medications (including MAT when indicated), and coordinating care with interdisciplinary teams. The Physician ensures that all services meet COMAR regulations, OHCQ standards, and Maryland Health–General Article Title 19 requirements while supporting integration of behavioral and somatic health services. The Physician is authorized to bill CPT codes 99202–99205 and 99211–99215 for eligible services rendered. This position plays a critical role in bridging the gap between primary care, mental health, and substance use treatment, ensuring that clients receive safe, person-centered, and regulatory-compliant services.
