About The Position

Responsible for operating forklifts and cherry pickers to unload materials and merchandise from incoming trucks and picking product for shipment.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• 1+ years of related job experience preferred
• RF handheld experience preferred
• Certified to operate forklifts and cherry pickers
• Strong proficiency in English communication including reading, writing, and verbal interactions are required for complying with safety protocols and operational procedures
• The employee is regularly required to stand and walk on level surfaces for a prolonged period
• The employee frequently is required to talk and hear; use hands to handle or feel; reach with hands and arms above should height and below the waist
• The employee must be able to lift up to 20 lbs. 70% of the day and up to 65 lbs. 30% of the day

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts and cherry pickers
• Accurately pick parts throughout the warehouse
• Weigh product using the proper scales
• Check part numbers and quantities with a high degree of accuracy
• Accurately pack orders into shipping cartons, verifying all components of the order are accounted for the correct customer
• Read customer order notes and filling the order with any special customer requirements
• Maintain stock of warehouse and shipping supplies
• Assist in counting physical inventory; perform inventory audits as needed
• Notify Department Lead or Department Supervisor of any stock shelf issues
• Report defective materials/product, shortages and/or questionable conditions to the Lead or Supervisor
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness and orderliness
• Follow all safety rules
• Other duties as assigned
