About The Position

Casino Pier is looking for attendants to oversee the cleanliness of the Pier Grill and food and beverage stalls. This position is responsible for keeping the premises in a clean and orderly condition.

Requirements

  • Performs work according to standard procedure and by building's operational schedule.
  • Cleans rooms, walkways, window, and tables.
  • Sweep, remove debris, clean spills, and mop floors.
  • Regularly check the trash/recycling receptacles, emptying as needed, in all areas of the property.
  • Wipe all fixtures, lights, baseboards and ledges.
  • Operate and sanitize all equipment in a safe and proper manner.
  • Follow and comply with all applicable health and sanitation procedures and adhere to safe work practices.
  • Re-supply work area with necessary supplies, and replenish dispensers.
  • Must be available to work all shifts including holiday's when needed.
  • Reports work accomplished orally or on written work order to supervisor daily.
  • Ability to carry out detailed oral or written instructions.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with guests and team members.
  • Maintain a professional appearance, including company uniform compliance at all times.
  • Disposition to perform other duties as assigned.
  • Ability to lift and carry objects weighing from 15 to 25 pounds.
  • Regular bending, lifting, stretching and reaching both below the waist and above the head
  • Occasionally push and pull wheeled dollies loaded with products up to 100 pounds
  • Walking in and around the facility with great frequency
  • Ability to climb ladders and gangways safely and without limitation
  • Dexterity in eye/hand coordination, manual (picking, pinching, holding, grasping), and wrist motion (repetitive flexion/rotation)
  • Must be able to stand/walk for up to 10-12 hours
  • We require that employees are available to work a varied schedule.
  • We require that you be available to work weekends and holidays from March 3rd to October 28th.
  • Employees must submit any requests for time off with two week's notice.
