Pilates Reformer Instructor - Johnstown
About The Position
The YMCA of Northern Colorado is looking for knowledgeable and professional instructors to welcome new participants to our Pilates Reformer programs at our YMCA. You'll not only teach high quality classes but build relationships and connect class participants. Applicants should have exceptional teaching, communication and listening skills. The salary range is $26.00-42.00 per hour based on experience and availability. In addition, we offer a +10% differential for bilingual staff who test as fluent in Spanish and English. Requirements
- Current nationally recognized Instructor Certification in Pilates Reformer and National Group Exercise required.
- At least 1 year experience teaching Pilates Reformer.
- Current CPR, AED and First Aid certification or obtain certification within the first 60 days of hire and maintain current certification thereafter.
Responsibilities
- Plan and lead Pilates Reformer class while providing a safe, effective workout and accurate health and wellness information.
- Develop educational and enjoyable sessions for the participants.
- Must be outgoing, energetic, and have the physical ability to teach Pilates. Portray a professional image and provide positive feedback, motivation, and encouragement.
- Set an excellent example of health and wellness and member service.
- Other duties as assigned.
