About The Position

The main duties will include jogging manually and operating equipment to aerate the loads coming off the press to prepare the sheets for the next stop in the process, which is cutting the sheets in the Die-cutting departments. The operator will perform preventative maintenance on the equipment, manage pallets, and perform other related tasks as assigned to help fellow workers.

Requirements

Basic knowledge of English
Flexible, efficient, and a team player
Able to be on your feet for at least 8 hours/day

Nice To Haves

Mechanical skills are a plus
Printing industry background is a plus
Maintenance experience is a plus
Autonomous, resourceful, accountable, and meticulous

Responsibilities

Work in very close collaboration with the Die-cutting and Guillotine operators.
Work as a team player to deliver a product that meets client needs and company expectations.
Perform quality controls while jogging and fill out necessary documentation.
Perform maintenance and minor mechanical adjustments or repairs on the equipment following an established preventative maintenance schedule
Participate in any related tasks
