You will be reporting to the Sr. Manager, Viral Pilot Plant and will work onsite at our CSL Seqirus site in Holly Springs, NC location.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required. Degree in Scientific discipline/Engineering preferred.
  • 1+ years of experience of downstream pharmaceutical manufacturing processes preferred.
  • 1 or more years of experience in pharmaceutical/biotech operations working in a technical role
  • Experience in column chromatography, Tangential flow chromatography, Ultracentrifugation, and other downstream processes in a commercial environment.
  • Familiar with Unicorn software and Akta equipment

Responsibilities

  • Be the hands-on operator in material production within the Viral Pilot Plant
  • Conduct all assigned activities in a safe and cGMP compliant manner.
  • Prepare, and sterilizing production equipment
  • Implement process steps according to defined SOPs, BPRs
  • Document activities and review of documentation following cGMPs.
  • Use electronic business systems (e.g, PLCs, LIMS, SAP).
  • Follow site biosafety policy to handle biologically and chemically hazardous material.
  • Work with maintenance, metrology, engineering, and quality.
  • Solve process related issues, coordinating with appropriate teams to resolve issues and prevent reoccurrence.
  • Complete process validations and short-term improvement projects, working with all the relevant parties to ensure accurate execution.
  • Ensure protocols are performed as intended and oversee execution of protocols.
