Basic Duties Feeds tube portion of the bag into machine Assists the Machine Operator set-up the machine to specifications outlined on the order according to the setup time and procedure Assists Machine Operator achieve standard production target and waste target Assists Machine Operator Troubleshoot machine when it is down or not performing to standard Assists maintenance with machine repairs and preventive maintenance Continuously improve the process as an individual and as a team member Responsible for ensuring that the day-to-day operations of the machine is consistent with the policies and procedures that make up the quality system Ensures work area is kept clean according to SQF standards Ensures all environmental standards and requirements are met Follow and support food safety guidelines according to SQF standards Specific Duties Manually feeds tube portion of bag into the bottoming machine Performs inspections per Quality Procedure Cleans machine and area according to schedule to eliminate safety hazards Assists Operator with Preventive Maintenance (PM) as performed according to the schedule Ensures materials are available for next order & next shift Assists production associates ensuring safe operation by following established safety guidelines; Follows established safety guidelines Supports improvement initiatives Properly labels returned material Adheres to SQF Procedures and Quality controls Takes measures to reduce waste and make sure waste is weighed and recorded Operates machinery for relief periods Performs Other duties as designated by Operator, Supervisor or Manager

Requirements

High School Graduate or GED

Responsibilities

Feeds tube portion of the bag into machine
Assists the Machine Operator set-up the machine to specifications outlined on the order according to the setup time and procedure
Assists Machine Operator achieve standard production target and waste target
Assists Machine Operator Troubleshoot machine when it is down or not performing to standard
Assists maintenance with machine repairs and preventive maintenance
Continuously improve the process as an individual and as a team member
