About The Position
A leading mechanical contractor is seeking experienced Combo Pipe Welders for ongoing commercial and industrial new construction projects across Dallas, Fort Worth, and surrounding areas. Benefits: Pay up to $35/hour, based on experience and weld test results Overtime available Immediate placement after a successful test Long-term work with a top-tier mechanical contractor
Requirements
- Must pass an in-house 6G weld test (X-Ray)
- Must have reliable transportation to commute to job sites across DFW
- Experience in pipe welding in commercial or industrial construction settings
- Ability to work four 10-hour shifts and one 8-hour shift
Responsibilities
- Weld carbon steel pipe using 6010 root and 7018 fill/cap
- Weld stainless and other types of metal pipe as needed
- Perform 6G welds that pass X-ray inspection
- Work on high-pressure pipe systems for large-scale construction
- Read blueprints and follow welding procedures
- Follow the jobsite safety standards
