MSD is looking for a Pipefitter Journeyman to join our team! The Pipefitter Journeyman plays a key role in the successful execution of piping projects, bringing both technical expertise and field leadership to every job site. This individual is responsible for planning, installing, repairing, and fitting piping systems for a variety of mechanical equipment, ensuring all work is completed accurately, efficiently, and in full compliance with specifications and safety regulations. Beyond the hands-on work, the Journeyman serves as a mentor to Apprentices, providing guidance, training, and real-time feedback to help develop their skills and ensure work is performed to standard. They work closely with internal teams to prioritize tasks, communicate job requirements, and keep projects moving forward on schedule. With a strong focus on quality and accountability, the Pipefitter Journeyman conducts inspections, tracks labor and material usage, and ensures all tools and equipment are operated safely. This is a role for someone who takes pride in their craft, leads by example in the field, and is committed to delivering high-quality work while helping build a strong, capable team around them.
