About The Position

Pipefitter • Applies basic pipefitting processes to join, surface, fabricate, repair, or replace piping systems (e.g., steel, cuni). • Works from blueprints, engineering sketches, charts, or work orders. • Uses measuring tools and related equipment to target and fit piping. • Sil-brazes cuni pipe. • May inspect completed work for conformance to specifications. • Performs all work in accordance with established safety procedures. • Participates in special projects, as required." Education (1) Requires a High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of education, technical training, or work experience (2) Technical or vocational training preferred Experience: 1-3 years of related pipefitting experience. The likely hourly rate for this position is between $26.35 - $35.65. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
