The Project Manager plays a critical role in delivering a smooth, timely solar installation experience for our homeowners. This role manages an active pipeline of 200+ residential solar projects and serves as the primary point of contact for homeowners, sales representatives, and internal teams.

Requirements

  • Prior experience in project coordination or project management preferred
  • Solar or construction-related experience strongly preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a strong customer-first and sales-support mindset
  • Strong time management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage a high- volume pipeline effectively
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities, including proactive risk identification and resolution
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work independently while collaborating cross-functionally
  • Proficiency with Google Workspace (Sheets, Calendar), Slack, and similar project management and collaboration tools

Responsibilities

  • Track and manage the full project lifecycle from system design through Permission to Operate (PTO) and system activation
  • Maintain an active pipeline of 200+ residential solar projects, ensuring accurate tracking, prioritization, and timely progression
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for homeowners and sales representatives, providing proactive, clear, and consistent project updates
  • Proactively identify risks, delays, and dependencies, escalating issues and driving resolution to keep projects on schedule
  • Coordinate closely with internal teams (design, permitting, utilities, installation, inspection, etc.) to resolve bottlenecks and obtain accurate, real-time project updates
  • Participate in daily pipeline and status meetings to align priorities, address blockers, and maintain cross- functional visibility
  • Review pipeline reports and dashboards daily to identify trends, delays, and required action items
