Requirements

  • Must be able to speak clearly and understand basic English to facilitate the communication process.
  • Ability to learn menu items and service procedures.
  • Ability to take direction and to work in a team environment.
  • Ability to work calmly and effectively under pressure.
  • Ability to learn and follow processes.
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods (up to 10–12 hours per shift) during food preparation and service
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds (e.g., bulk ingredients, trays, equipment)
  • Ability to perform frequent bending, stooping, reaching, twisting, and repetitive motions while preparing pizzas
  • Ability to safely work in a hot, humid, and fast-paced kitchen environment, including near pizza ovens
  • Visual and manual dexterity to monitor food quality, presentation, cleanliness, and safety standards

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and assemble high-quality pizzas following our recipes and standards
  • Operate and maintain pizza ovens, ensuring proper temperature and cooking times
  • Monitor and rotate pizza dough to maintain freshness and quality
  • Coordinate with the kitchen team to ensure timely and efficient execution of pizza orders
  • Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a clean and hygienic work environment
  • Collaborate with other culinary team members to develop new pizza flavors and specials
