The Manager of Planning is responsible for managing and overseeing Hubbell’s strategic planning initiatives, directing the development and implementation of comprehensive planning processes and methodologies. Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Operations, Logistics or related field
• 6-10 years of relevant experience (required)
• Previous progressively responsible leadership or managerial experience (required)
• Strong computer literacy including advanced capability in Advanced Microsoft Excel (Pivot tables, V-Look Ups), Word, and PowerPoint preferred.
• Exceptionally articulate in oral and written communications built on strong analytical skills
• Detail oriented, with excellent follow-through and problem-solving skills
• Flexible and adaptive to changing priorities
• Results driven and able to work in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

• Developing and implementing operational strategies to enhance efficiency and productivity
• Coordinating resources effectively, including materials, equipment, and personnel
• Creating and managing production schedules to meet demand and deadlines
• Overseeing inventory levels to maintain adequate stock without excess
• Analyzing operational data to identify trends, area for improvement, and cost-saving opportunities
• Working closely with various departments to ensure smooth workflow processes
• Predicting future demand and planning accordingly to meet business needs
• Identifying and implementing strategies to enhance operational efficiency and reduce waste
• Contributing to key decisions related to operations and process enhancements
