About The Position
The position is for 1st shift, at the Main Yard Facility in Bath, ME. Successful candidates will be expected to create a deliverable product (job package) to manufacturing. The package provided is expected to contain all necessary documentation to accomplish that work and be aligned with material needed. Depending on specific assignments, this position could consist of varying levels of office, bill of material development and/or route creation.
Requirements
- High School Diploma / GED.
- Demonstrated ability to read and comprehend blueprints and other technical documents.
- Competent usage of common PC-based systems (Microsoft Office, etc.) required.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Satisfactory work history (discipline/attendance).
Nice To Haves
- College degree in a technical, business, or management related field preferred.
- Graduate of BIW Manufacturing or Design Apprentice programs preferred.
