About The Position

KBR’s National Security Solutions team provides high-end engineering and advanced technology solutions to our customers in the intelligence and national security communities. In this position, your work will have a profound impact on the country’s most critical role – protecting our national security. KBR is seeking a highly motivated and career-oriented Plans and Strategy Lead to join our team. You will be responsible for shaping the long‑range operational vision, strategic direction, and mission planning framework for a Space Operations Center. This role ensures the organization is postured to meet current and emerging space mission demands by integrating strategic guidance, operational concepts, and enterprise priorities into actionable plans This is a contingent position based upon contract award

Requirements

  • Master’s Degree plus 11 years of relevant space domain awareness / operations experience with demonstrated expertise or bachelor’s degree with 12 years of relevant experience with demonstrated experience with demonstrated expertise or No Degree with 14 years of relevant experience with demonstrated experience with demonstrated expertise
  • 7 years combined experience in IC and/or DOD exercises and planning processes
  • 2 years combined relevant operations floor and/or project management experience working with other IC organizations and Combatant Commands
  • Active TS/SCI with Poly required to be considered
  • Strong oral and written communications skills
  • Be able to perform contract tasks independently and lead teams

Responsibilities

  • Applies broad expertise to the join planning processes and COCOM processes to evolve IC participation and input into daily operations.
  • Focuses on quality of the training the exercises provide and the follow-on implementation of that training into procedures, orders, plans, tools and crew qualification products.
