About The Position

Rock Yard CDL Drivers Our Plant and Rock Yard Drivers are integral part of our Customer Service Delivery to Residential & Business customers. Our drivers deliver plant material, rock & soil material to neighborhoods, construction sites, & commercial businesses. Safe driving & Safe Loading/Unloading is essential. Product delivery is the final step in a happy customer experience, and our Nursery drivers do that for us. This safety sensitive position must take pride in providing quality customer service. Make deliveries in a safe and timely matter. Follows operations standards for cost control, waste reduction, quality, safety, and complete and on-time service Follows policies in the areas of operations techniques, materials usage Performs other related duties as assigned Loading and unloading rock/Soil material Following the rules of the road / Star Nursery’s Policies Delivering Decorative rock and soil Amendments

Requirements

• Ability to climb up and down from the trucks
• Ability to correctly tarp or adjust tarp on the truck/tub if needed
• Planning: an ability to think ahead and plan in short- and long-term ranges
• The ability to organize and manage multiple priorities
• Problem analysis and problem resolution at both a strategic and functional level
• Strong ability to interact in a positive manner

• Reliable personal transportation
• Ability to follow directions as well as work independently to achieve goals and complete assigned tasks
• Ability to work outdoors in all types of weather
• Class C license
• Must provide a clean DMV record (3 year).
• Clean Background effective and relevant work experience in dump tuck deliveries honest and hard working
• Must be able to work long hours (seasonal overtime available) in all types of weather conditions
• US work authorization
