The Job: As a Plant Controller, Aerofit, you’ll be part of our Industrial Finance Controllership team working as an on-site employee. You’ll get to: Financial Governance & Internal Controls Maintain accurate financial statements in strict accordance with US GAAP and corporate policies. Lead comprehensive month-end and quarterly closing processes to ensure timely and accurate reporting. Drive full compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) requirements and continuously improve the site’s internal control environment. Oversee inventory management, including the coordination of year-end physical inventories, cycle counting programs, and the development of robust control procedures. Manage the fixed asset sub-ledger, including expenditure monitoring, Construction-in-Progress (CIP) reviews, and asset audits. Proactively identify accounting risks and implement effective mitigation strategies. Operational Business Partnership Collaborate with the Plant Manager and operations team to provide transparent, actionable financial reporting. Develop and manage annual budgets and periodic financial forecasts. Analyze plant performance and variances, translating data into insights that drive operational improvements. Provide high-level scenario modeling and ad-hoc business case analysis to support strategic investment and ROI. Deliver financial presentations to plant leadership, business units, and corporate stakeholders. Standardize routine business processes to eliminate waste and drive value creation. Foster a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, and professional development within the finance and operations teams. Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
  • Experience: 7-10 years experience with proven track record in a manufacturing operations environment with deep knowledge of cost accounting.
  • Must have at least 5 years experience working in a manufacturing environment.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in financial statement analysis, product costing, and business case development.
  • Leadership: A strategic thinker who can work independently while collaborating across all levels of the organization.
  • Attributes: High integrity, a "continuous improvement" mindset, and the ability to thrive in an innovative, fast-paced environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Epicor Avante and Hyperion Financial Management (HFM) is highly preferred.
