We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Office & Payroll Support Specialist to back up daily administrative, payroll, and accounting functions across two plant locations. This role requires strong accuracy, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. The position will be based in Denver, CO. The salary range is $25.00 to $28.00 hourly. Requirements

  • Strong attention to detail with high accuracy.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem solving skills; proficient with 10 key.
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities and professional phone/email etiquette.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks with minimal supervision.
  • Customer service oriented and flexible.
  • Excel and Word proficiency.

  • Knowledge of Work Brain preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Process daily payroll tasks, including monitoring punches, correcting mis punches, entering vacation and exception hours, and updating weekly schedules.
  • Track attendance occurrences and coordinate with supervisors on missing punches.
  • Support accounts payable/receivable, including invoice tracking, freight logs, CHEP pallet invoicing, and uniform billing.
  • Assist with SOX documentation, cycle counts, inventory adjustments, and period close reporting.
  • Greet visitors and truck drivers, answer phones, and ensure GMP compliance at plant entry.
  • Prepare BOLs, review shipping logs, and file shipping packets.
  • Maintain office supplies, manage filing systems, and support general office operations.
  • Assist with vendor coordination (e.g., Unifirst), PPE packets, Iron Mountain records, and wastewater reporting.
  • Provide backup support for office staff and assist the Office Coordinator and Accounting Manager as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
