About The Position

Assists Plant Manager in the management and support of the operations of Engineering, Security, and other departments as assigned. Leads the daily operations in providing a safe and efficiently operated facility. Assists on issues of compliance with AHCA, NFPA, TJC (EOC) and all other applicable facility codes and standards. Participates in the Environment of Care functions including specific functions of the Joint Commission Utility and Security programs. Completes CAR/PACs as assigned. Assists in the planning of renovation and construction necessary in maintaining the physical interior and exterior structure. Serves on and participates on the water management team. Able to access Phigenics site and understands the data being documented. Manages water chemical testing protocol to ensure target levels are being maintained. Maintains energy savings initiatives to ensure high Energy Star scores. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or Technical School Diploma
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in managing healthcare plant operations required
  • Technical course work in building automation, code compliance, TJC survey process
  • Experience using Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook and the time keeping system, Kronos required
  • Must be proficient with computers and able to produce/design reports.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication required.
  • This position requires a balance between full hands on maintenance and technical trade abilities to the overall, high-level management of the department.
