About The Position
Plant Operator: Looking for an active, exciting career in liquid plant operations processing? Do you want to be a part of an organization that impacts the environment in a positive way? If so, Liquid Environmental Services is looking for a Plant Operator like you! As a Wastewater Plant Operator, your primary responsibility will be to treat wastewater, determine water quality, and release treated water to city publicly owned treatment works. FULL TIME position with some OT expected Schedule: Shift 1: 2am to 2pm Shift 2: 6am to 6pm Scope of accountability Responsible for mixing the wastewater chemicals and adding to them as needed Manages the space for incoming wastewater and treatment of material Samples and checks facility discharge for compliance with all procedures or regulations Performs cleanup of area as required Checks tank levels for necessary space for material processing Follows all safety and compliance rules and regulations Wears and properly use safety equipment at all times Always works in a safe and compliant manner Works cooperatively as a team member with other departments
Requirements
- High school graduate or equivalent
- The ability to learn procedures related to safe handling of materials
- Committed to growth in a company
- Collaborative with team members
- Good eye hand coordination
- Organizational ability
- The ability to be cross-trained to perform other jobs as needed
- Ability to communicate with others for safety and efficiency requirements
