Plant Process Operator - Blending Plant- 2nd Shift
About The Position
Job Summary The Process Operator/Laborer is responsible for operating the plant equipment to produce finished product. Essential Duties/Responsibilities Nothing in this job description restricts management's right to assign or reassign duties and responsibilities to this job at any time. Oversees processing of raw material to finished product; monitors materials to maintain maximum rate of processing per hour. Maintains consistent flow of material from initial receipt to shipment. Monitors control panel and various gauges to ensure process maximum efficiencies. May perform some preventative maintenance duties (i.e. lubricating machinery and checking lubricant levels as required) Informs Shift Lead Person and/or Plant Management of any problems. May be responsible for plant start-up or shut-down. Maintains safety as top priority in accordance with all company safety rules and regulations. Aware of, has received training and is responsible for maintaining Darling's Food Safety program. All other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High School diploma or GED.
- Minimum 6 months experience in related environment

- Good mechanical skills; knowledge of plant processes and equipment.
