About The Position

Glaz-Tech Industries is a wholesale manufacturer and supplier of residential, commercial, & specialty glass with locations across 7 states. We offer the broadest product line in the flat glass industry including low-e products, laminated glass, tempered safety glass, tinted glass, reflective glass, and specializes in the manufacture of thermal efficient insulated glass units (Dual Pane Units). Glaz-Tech Industries is looking to fill the position of plant/production manager. The plant manager is responsible for the complete oversight of all manufacturing departments to ensure goals and metrics of safety, quality, schedule and cost are met.

Requirements

Ability to communicate in English
Background Check/ Drug Screen
Must be 18 years or older
5 years of work experience
Authorized to work in the US

Nice To Haves

Strong analytical and problem solving abilities
Must possess strong interpersonal and leadership skills
2 years of work experience in glass fabrication preferred

Responsibilities

Daily oversight and execution to the production schedule.
Coordinate, lead, and execute daily production plans in the achievement of production goals,
Drive compliance to company policy, such as reporting time, attendance, safety, audits, etc.
Ensure consistent and effective shift and work scheduling.
Analysis of manpower in each department
Provide leadership and coaching that create a positive team morale and effectiveness.
Create and maintain an environment with employee engagement to implement changes in procedures to improve value-added activities and eliminate wasteful activities.
Administering monthly recording of inventory
Ensure a safe work environment for all employees- maintain neat and clean work areas and ensure compliance with safety and 5S standards.
