About The Position

Lead Utilities, Elevate Reliability Own the frontline leadership of a skilled utilities maintenance team in an automated, food manufacturing environment. Drive safety, quality, and uptime while developing technicians and coordinating daily work. Why This Role Matters Safeguards personal safety, food safety, and product quality every shift. Keeps production running with on-time completion of planned and unplanned utilities tasks. Builds technician capability and creates a service-first partnership with production and quality. Your Impact Provide immediate, hands-on supervision to utilities technicians. Assign tasks, verify progress at frequent intervals, and maintain daily/weekly schedules. Act as a working leader—balancing leadership with individual technical work as needed. Plan and schedule maintenance activities based on available resources and priorities. Serve as the facility’s utilities subject-matter expert for troubleshooting and resolution. Manage multiple people and tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment. Model servant leadership and strong customer service to all internal stakeholders. Coach employees to reach organizational goals and performance standards. Handle competing priorities with time, staffing, and equipment constraints professionally. Schedule & Other Details Weekend or overtime work may be required as determined by management. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Associate degree or equivalent mix of education and applicable experience.
  • Advanced MS Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Outlook; strong written and verbal communication.

Nice To Haves

  • 7+ years of industrial maintenance experience leading utilities technicians in a fully automated production facility.
  • Electro-Mechanical or Industrial Electronics & Maintenance technical degree.
  • HVAC certification.
  • Experience with SQF, HACCP, and GMP standards.
  • Food manufacturing experience.
  • Facilities maintenance background
