About The Position

Contract to Hire Rotational Oven Operator - Bristol, IN The Rotational Molding Oven Operator is responsible for operating rotational molding ovens to produce high-quality plastic parts according to production specifications. This role ensures accurate mold loading, heating, cooling, and demolding while maintaining safety, quality, and efficiency standards.

Requirements

Ability to work in hot environments near ovens.
Able to lift 50 lbs frequently and perform repetitive tasks.
Ability to stand, bend, and move throughout the shift.

Responsibilities

Load molds with correct resin, inserts, and hardware according to job specifications.
Operate rotational molding ovens, monitoring cycle times, temperatures, rotation speeds, and process controls.
Safely move molds into and out of ovens using hoists, cranes, or other material-handling equipment.
Inspect molds and parts during and after cycles to ensure proper wall thickness, finish, and dimensional accuracy.
Trim, clean, and finish molded parts as required.
Perform basic mold maintenance, including cleaning, tightening hardware, and applying mold release.
Document production data and report process issues, defects, or equipment concerns to supervisors.
Follow all written work instructions and quality procedures.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area, adhering to all company and OSHA safety standards.
Work cooperatively with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
