About The Position

General Dynamics Mission Systems has an immediate opening for a candida te to fulfill an Experienced PaaS Developer for TCS . This position provides an opportunity to further advance the cutting-edge technology that supports some of our nation’s core defense/intelligence services and systems. General Dynamics Mission Systems employees work closely with esteemed customers to develop solutions that allow them to carry out high-stakes national security missions.
What you bring to the table: Ability to develop innovative product solutions that meet customer requirements Capable of collaborating in a multidisciplinary team including hardware, software, and cyber-security experts The ability to support the program with the following: Excellent Red Hat Linux Administration and deployment background with a working knowledge of systems Subject matter experience with OpenStack, Docker, Kubernetes, or other container orchestration/PaaS/Cloud technologies Resolve complex issues and conduct research spikes Commitment to ongoing professional development

Requirements

• Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering, Technology or Mathematics field.
• Also requires 2+ years of job-related experience, or a Master's degree and 6 months of job-related experience.
• Department of Defense Secret security clearance is required at time of hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.
• Ability to develop innovative product solutions that meet customer requirements
