About The Position

Student Exploration and Experience Development (SEED) is a 12-week internship opportunity at Veolia for students to gain hands-on experience in sustainability and ecological transformation. They will work on real-world projects, receive mentorship from industry professionals, and participate in workshops and networking events. The program aims to nurture talent, promote innovation, and foster meaningful connections between students and industry professionals. Overall, the SEED program provides students with the skills, knowledge, and connections needed to make a positive impact in the industry. Program Dates: June 1, 2026 to August 21, 2026. Position Purpose: Internships at Veolia: Gain hands-on experience in at least one career function from Corporate, Engineering, Maintenance, Manufacturing, Operations, Sales, Supply Chain or Technology

Requirements

  • High School Diploma/GED is required.
  • Working towards a four year degree and you have Senior status in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related major.
  • 3.2 Cumulative G.P.A required.
  • Strong communication skills, including written, verbal, listening, presentation and facilitation skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to build collaborative relationships.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in setting up and configuring AWS resources (EC2, S3, VPC, Lambda, etc.)
  • Help with basic Infrastructure as Code using tools like Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
  • Support monitoring, logging, and basic troubleshooting of cloud environments.
  • Participate in automating routine tasks and deployments.
  • Help test and deploy small platform features or improvements.
  • Work on documentation for cloud setups and processes.
  • Join team meetings, stand-ups, and code/infrastructure reviews.
  • Learn AWS best practices (security, cost optimization, scalability).
