CrowdStrike's Product Security team breaks the mold of traditional internal security and focuses on active threats to CrowdStrike's products. As a Security Engineer you will perform: complex investigations to determine root cause and remediation, technical security assessments of systems, monitor for emerging threats, create tooling for known gaps, and deploy large-scale security/monitoring systems.

Requirements

  • Strong security acumen and experience solving complex engineering issues
  • Applicable experience in a security engineering, role implementing and supporting security systems for enterprise and production environments
  • This role will require the candidate to periodically undergo and pass additional background and fingerprint check(s) consistent with government customer requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Investigate small to large scale security and engineering issues to determine impact and risks to platform data
  • Conduct response and recovery efforts across complex systems and large data sets
  • Examine systems and applications to understand current security posture
  • Advocate for best-security practices to engineering organization
  • Identify, design, and partner with teams to implement security and data improvement projects
