About The Position

The Platinion People Team Senior Specialist provides program management (PMO) support and skilled execution capabilities to support Consulting Team and Business Service Team priorities and people processes in the Platinion office. This is a tremendous opportunity to help refine and execute the CT & BST People Agenda in Platinion, with the goal of continuing to improve the end-to-end staff experience and offer best-in-class talent management support, while supporting other business needs. This individual will be integral to teaming with Talent Managers (TMs) and People Senior Manager to deliver on People priorities. By design, the Platinion People Team Senior Specialist will work across a broad set of topics – with multiple priorities that will vary over time and in alignment with the priorities of the leadership team and the Talent Senior Managers. Example priority areas will include supporting and executing best-in-class programmatic efforts focused on CT affiliation and belonging; Partner upskilling; Diversity, Equity and Inclusion; Learning and Development incl. Onboarding, technical upskilling, certifications; Career frameworks definition; CT development; mentorship; mobility programs; and more. Importantly, this individual will team most closely with the Talent Managers to drive special projects, define scope and roadmap as well as and drive execution. The Platinion People Team Senior Specialist will at times play an important role in special projects and people analytics, whether supporting analysis of cohort pulse check data, formal global surveys (e.g., People Survey), participation to existing trainings and feedback collection, or other ad hoc system/local analyses. In this capacity, the Senior Specialist teams with the TMs and People Senior Manager to translate insights into required action or changes. The Senior Specialist will also coordinate with the TDA ecosystem, working with the TDA People Team Sr Manager and the TDA Programs Director to share best practices, identify areas for synergies and ensure plans are coordinated (e.g., TDA immersion sessions). This role’s mandate may evolve over time as strategic programs and projects are identified & implemented. Key priorities will be evaluated on an ongoing basis, to align with business needs and individual goals.

Requirements

  • A minimum of three years of experience with increasing levels of responsibility, ideally at BCG.
  • An undergraduate degree
  • Comfort with a wide breadth of job responsibilities that cuts across People Agenda topics and types of day-to-day activity

Responsibilities

  • Plan appropriate project timelines, work backward from deadlines, identify milestones and owners, and execute against a project plan.
  • Juggle multiple competing priorities without letting balls drop, including prioritizing your own work and seeking input where needed.
  • Conceptual thinking and think through the impacts that an initiative will have in the organization.
  • Draft email communications, design a L&D curriculum for a given cohort, provide project status updates , track participants, create meeting agendas, conduct follow-ups to ensure agreed actions are completed.
  • Adapt your written communication to both the audience and the sender – e.g., email communication, slide writing.
  • Conducting data analysis with Excel.
  • Using tools to organize project work and collaboration such as Trello, Confluence.
  • Team effectively across functions and across levels in the organization.
  • Brainstorming and working jointly as a team, and also owning your independent work and priorities.
  • Seek feedback and development, are flexible, adaptable, and eager to learn new skills and content.

  • Total compensation for this role includes base salary, annual discretionary performance bonus, contributions to BCG’s Profit Sharing and Retirement Fund (PSRF), and a market leading benefits package described below.
