Impact you’ll make Keep production running by troubleshooting and repairing electrical systems, PLCs, drives, and AC/DC motor controls up to site voltage limits Lead with safety—proper PPE, adherence to procedures, and active participation in CMC’s Safety Programs Inspect, maintain, and improve equipment: shop machinery, HVAC, mobile equipment, PLC networks, and cranes Read/interpret electrical and electronic schematics; make sound decisions quickly Execute PMs and corrective maintenance: calibrations, repairs, part replacements, installations, and testing Collaborate with ARP Planners to schedule and prioritize maintenance work Document work thoroughly—time, materials, and corrective actions—using the SAP maintenance module Provide technical support to production and maintenance teams Uphold housekeeping standards and maintain an organized workspace Leverage diagnostic tools: digital voltmeters, multi‑meters, oscilloscopes, and paper recorders What you bring Hands‑on AC/DC troubleshooting expertise and solid electrical controls maintenance experience Strong analytical thinking, problem solving, and multitasking in a fast‑paced environment Comfortable working at heights and on your feet for extended periods Working knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics; commitment to electrical safe work practices (NFPA 70E preferred) PLC troubleshooting (Siemens and/or other platforms) preferred Background with melting, casting, and rolling processes is a plus 3+ years in industrial maintenance preferred MRO/SAP experience preferred Available for rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays Education High School Diploma or GED required Compensation & benefits Medical, vision, and dental coverage starting on Day 1 PTO and vacation available from Day 1 401(k) with a 4.5% company match $500 annual lifestyle benefit funded by the company Competitive compensation with bonus opportunities Company‑paid life and disability insurance Employee Stock Purchase Plan Robust training and advancement opportunities Tools & tech PLCs: Allen‑Bradley, Siemens Test equipment: digital voltmeter, multi‑meter, oscilloscope, paper recorder About CMC We’re a Fortune 500 innovator in steel and construction reinforcement, supporting infrastructure across the globe for over 100 years.
