PLT Plant 1 Curing Scrap Chaser
About The Position
The PLT Plant 1 Curing Scrap Chaser will: Monitor all non conformities throughout the department and make adjustments as needed. Stay in communication with the Tire room of any non conforming materials that will need quarantined. Monitor and follow up with uniformity topics as needed and communicate back any adjustments that were performed. Monitor and Follow-up with Flash Audits and communicate back any adjustments that were performed. PLT Curing Scrap Chaser must be able to make mold and bladder changes, install recipes, build and tear down bladders, and maintain data input. PLT Curing Scrap Chaser must be able to make minor mechanical adjustments and emergency repairs, perform loader quick checks, squeeze audits, cure cycle audits, and cure temperature audits. PLT Curing Scrap Chaser will follow all plant policies, environmental policies and plant and departmental safety policies. Must be certified to operate a Fork Life through the Safety Department. PLT Curing Scrap Chaser must be able to effectively communicate with other set up techs, curing supervision, curing press operators, supplying departments, quality assurance, process engineering, and final finish. PLT Curing Scrap Chaser will follow standard practices and perform all work necessary to promptly and accurately obtain quality and quantity production, and keeping work areas neat, clean, and aligned and orderly. Perform other duties as directed by the PLT Curing Supervisor, Lead Supervisor, or Department Manager. Ensure all ESH procedures, policies and legal requirements are implemented and monitored. NOTE: May not be inclusive of all work required and may be updated as needed.
Requirements
- High School Diploma/GED and 1 year Continental Manufacturing experience or 2 years mechanical experience.
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required.
- Must be certified to operate a Fork Life through the Safety Department.
