Maintenance Technicians are responsible for performing a wide range of general maintenance services and repairs, encompassing plumbing, electrical work, painting, and basic machine servicing. Additionally, they engage in various manual labor tasks such as material handling, carpet and ceiling tile replacement, light bulb replacement, and grounds-keeping duties. Maintenance Technicians perform regular maintenance of plumbing systems within commercial buildings, including installation, inspection, and repair of plumbing systems as needed. They ensure all plumbing work complies with current safety standards and applicable plumbing codes. Technicians demonstrate proficiency in commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures relevant to their assigned tasks. Upon completion of assigned tasks, they diligently update and close items in the company's computerized work order and preventive maintenance system while maintaining accurate work logs. Maintenance Technicians may also be tasked with monitoring both internal and external clients' properties.
