About The Position
Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Journeyman Plumbers for projects located in the Tonawanda, NY area. This is a first shift opportunity, and the pay rate is $23-30/hour based on experience and skill level. Requirements
- Experience with black iron / carbon steel pipe for gas and mechanical systems
- Familiarity with PEX piping (residential experience a plus)
- Understanding of threaded, grooved (Victaulic), and flanged piping systems
Responsibilities
- Interpret and work from plumbing layouts and blueprints
- Identify materials required for each phase of the project
- Install, assemble, and secure piping systems
- Understand piping applications specific to commercial projects
- Ensure work meets safety and quality standards
- Installation and assembly of copper piping (Type L & Type M) including soldering and brazing

- Properly size, cut, fit, and support piping per code and project specs
