About The Position

Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Journeyman Plumbers for projects located in the Tonawanda, NY area. This is a first shift opportunity, and the pay rate is $23-30/hour based on experience and skill level. Requirements

  • Experience with black iron / carbon steel pipe for gas and mechanical systems
  • Familiarity with PEX piping (residential experience a plus)
  • Understanding of threaded, grooved (Victaulic), and flanged piping systems

Responsibilities

  • Interpret and work from plumbing layouts and blueprints
  • Identify materials required for each phase of the project
  • Install, assemble, and secure piping systems
  • Understand piping applications specific to commercial projects
  • Ensure work meets safety and quality standards
  • Installation and assembly of copper piping (Type L & Type M) including soldering and brazing
  • Installation of PVC, CPVC, and ABS piping for waste, vent, and water distribution
  • Properly size, cut, fit, and support piping per code and project specs
