About The Position
Since 1996, RQC, LLC. has been a leading player in commercial and governmental Design-Build economy. We now have a national presence with current projects, spanning coast to coast, including Kings Bay Georgia. We offer management of projects throughout the United States, with our field operations' team members who work on location for each of our projects. We specialize in fast-track projects in new commercial construction for both public and private clients, with a primary focus in the Department of Defense market. We are looking to hire several Plumbers to join our self-perform team for ongoing work on Naval Station Mayport in Jacksonville, FL. All work is to be performed on the military base and is paid the required Davis-Bacon prevailing wage, specific to the military base. Our Plumbers will be responsible for the fabrication and installation of plumbing systems, fixtures, and equipment on an active construction site, ensuring that work is done in accordance with relevant codes. Work involves technical application of mechanical principles. This is all to be done using the appropriate equipment and implementing the required safety practices in support of RQ's Mission, Vision, and Values. Requirements
- High school diploma or G.E.D. is the minimal education required for this position.
- 4 or more years (or equivalent) field or trade work experience as a journey-level plumbing in a commercial or facilities operations setting is required; government, military, or large commercial construction experience preferred.
