About The Position

The Plumber Apprentice assists licensed plumbers in installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems in residential, commercial, or industrial settings.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED (or currently working toward one).
Interest in pursuing a career in plumbing or skilled trades.
Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
Basic math and problem-solving skills.
Ability to lift heavy materials (typically up to 50 lbs).
Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

Assist licensed plumbers with installation, maintenance, and repair of plumbing systems, pipes, fixtures, and equipment.
Measure, cut, and assemble pipes using hand and power tools.
Help diagnose plumbing issues such as leaks, clogs, and system malfunctions.
Maintain and organize tools, equipment, and materials on job sites.
Follow all safety procedures and company policies while working.
Transport tools, materials, and equipment to and from job sites.
Learn to read blueprints, drawings, and plumbing layouts.
Assist with installation of sinks, toilets, water heaters, and other plumbing fixtures.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Participate in training programs and coursework related to plumbing apprenticeship.
Other duties as assigned.
