This is an opportunity for a plumbing-led engineer to take ownership of projects, lead scopes confidently, and contribute meaningfully to a high-performing engineering team. As a Senior Plumbing Engineer / Project Manager , you will lead plumbing design efforts from concept through construction while collaborating closely with mechanical and electrical disciplines. You will serve as: The technical authority for plumbing systems A client-facing project leader A mentor to junior designers A key contributor to QA/QC and process improvement This role is ideal for someone who enjoys balancing hands-on design execution with leadership and coordination responsibilities .

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
  • Minimum 5–7 years of plumbing design experience within an MEP consulting environment.
  • Certified Plumbing Designer (CPD) license required or in progress.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit for MEP design.
  • Experience producing fully coordinated construction documents.
  • Demonstrated project management experience with client-facing responsibility.
  • Strong communication, organization, and cross-discipline collaboration skills.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license or active path toward licensure required.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and technical execution of domestic water, sanitary, storm, gas, and specialty plumbing systems from concept through construction.
  • Manage plumbing scopes across all project phases while coordinating closely with mechanical, electrical, architectural, and client teams to ensure aligned, on-time delivery.
  • Oversee the preparation of coordinated construction documents and provide construction administration support to ensure code compliance and buildability.
  • Mentor junior staff and contribute to internal QA/QC processes to maintain high technical standards and continuous improvement.
