About The Position

Markley is New England’s largest and longest operating multi-tenant, mission-critical telecommunication, and data center with facilities in Boston and Lowell MA. Markley Properties is looking to add a highly skilled licensed plumber to the team. The plumber will be responsible for installations, repairs, and maintenance of HVAC, water, gas, and drainage systems at our residential and commercial buildings. Additional responsibilities include diagnosing issues, reading blueprints, adhering to local codes, and ensuring safety. The plumbing technician works with various materials, such as steel, copper, and PVC, using specialized tools for cutting, welding, and brazing. This person will be responsible for assisting with daily routine maintenance and upkeep of the building. Roles and Responsibilities Setting up new plumbing systems, water heaters, and fixtures (toilets, sinks). Diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing leaking pipes, clogged drains, and broken fixtures. Ensuring all work complies with local plumbing codes and safety regulations. Reading and interpreting blueprints to determine pipe layout and material needs. Provides cost estimates, diagnosing issues on-site, and interacting professionally with clients. Must be prepared to work with a wide range of people, from team members, laborers, sub-contractors, Ability to perform general carpentry functions, maintain a professional/safe and clean environment, participate in projects as needed. Support a wide variety of manual labor activities for the team. Understanding of radiant flooring and heated driveways.

Requirements

  • Valid Drives License
  • Reliable Transportation
  • Ability to operate MEWPs. (Scissor lifts, Boom lifts)
  • Snow Removal
  • Ability to perform manual labor.
  • 5-7 years of commercial/residential painting experience
  • Familiarity with BMS
  • Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent.

  • Belimo Actuators preferred
