About The Position

Isola, an industry leader in global materials sciences whose mission is to improve life by enabling innovation in electronic products, is hiring a 2nd Shift Ply Up Operator at our Ridgeway, SC facility. The Ply Up Operator is responsible for operating a semi-automated machine to prepare pre-preg sheets for the build-up process.

Requirements

Candidates must have strong verbal and written communication skills.
Able to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
Proficiency in reading, writing, and verbal communication is essential.
In this role you maybe be required to stand up to 10 hours per shift and with frequent bending, reaching, and grasping. You will also need to lift, pull or push up to 50 pounds.
Completion of 90-day new hire/newly transferred probationary period
No active disciplinary notices for behavior or performance
No more than 3 attendance points

Nice To Haves

Previous machine operating experience
Previous experience with work instructions, work orders, and SAP

Responsibilities

Verifying work orders and tooling programs used to operate machines
Inspecting, identifying, and removing any material with quality problems such as debris, no signs anything damages or breakage on the material.
Entering all material transactions into SAP inventory tracking system and reporting material discrepancies when identified.
Maintaining records for material usage and product traceability within the SAP inventory.
All other duties as assigned
Perform other duties as assigned.
