Located in the heart of downtown Indianapolis and connected to Circle Centre Mall, Embassy Suites offers spacious two‑room suites, complimentary made‑to‑order breakfast, a nightly evening reception, and convenient access to major attractions including the Indiana Convention Center and Lucas Oil Stadium. The on‑site E’Terie Bar & Grill serves as the hotel’s lively social hub, offering fresh, casual dining and a full bar in a comfortable atrium setting. They thrive in fast‑paced evening environments and take pride in supporting both the dining room and bar by keeping spaces clean, organized, and guest‑ready. This person is proactive, attentive, and always ready to assist servers and bartenders to ensure smooth service and an exceptional guest experience. As a Busperson/Barback, you would be responsible for setting and clearing dining tables and stocking service stations in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability.

Requirements

The ideal Busperson/Barback candidate is a reliable, energetic team player with at least one year of restaurant or hospitality experience.
They thrive in fast‑paced evening environments and take pride in supporting both the dining room and bar by keeping spaces clean, organized, and guest‑ready.
This person is proactive, attentive, and always ready to assist servers and bartenders to ensure smooth service and an exceptional guest experience.

Responsibilities

Set and prepare tables for dining, including, but not limited to, folding napkins, cleaning and placing tableware, serving water, etc.
Support bartenders by restocking liquor, beer, wine, glassware, garnishes, ice, and bar supplies throughout the shift
Clears dirty table settings and prepares table for resetting.
Maintains stock and cleanliness of stations.
Serves guests beverages, breads and butter to begin their dining experience.
Transports all dirty tableware to dishwashing area for proper cleaning.
Ensure tableware is in good and working condition and report any defects for repair
Stock, maintain and clean designated food station(s)
Assist food server(s) with table service, including, but not limited to, serving beverages, breads, etc.
Respond to guest inquiries and requests and resolve issues in a timely, friendly and efficient manner
